Effective January 1, 2025, the Stop Campus Hazing Act requires all institutions of higher education to make a Campus Hazing Transparency Report publicly available. Hazing is prohibited under state law, federal law, and University policy.

In accordance with this law — and to help students make informed decisions about joining student organizations — WashU publishes a list of recognized student organizations that have been found responsible for violating the University’s hazing policy.

The Campus Hazing Transparency Report summarizes hazing findings involving any student organization established or recognized by WashU. The information below reflects hazing incidents reported to the University that resulted in findings of responsibility.

This report will be updated at least twice per year, and the University will maintain the information on its website for five years. All reported hazing statistics, along with additional campus safety information, are included in the University’s Annual Security Report.
