Nicole Gore serves as the Associate Dean and Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. She is committed to fostering a safe and supportive campus. Her approach to student development is informed by her work as an academic and pre-professional (pre-law and pre-health) advisor, where she gained insights into helping students navigate challenges, overcome setbacks and obstacles, and pursue their goals.
Previously, Dean Gore served as the Director of the First-Year Summer Academic Program (FSAP). She has a passion for helping students transition successfully into the Washington University community and supporting their growth.
Dean Gore began her professional journey in law, mentoring law students and young attorneys. She turned this passion into a career recruiting and training attorneys at a St. Louis law firm. She has advised students at St. Louis University School of Law and WashU Law and developed programs that promote diversity in the legal profession.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago Law School, Dean Gore enjoys going to the movies and has developed a recent interest in watching (not playing) tennis. Her family is very into March Madness and tries to attend a few NCAA Division I basketball games each year. Her favorite thing to do in St. Louis is watch musicals at the MUNY Theater in Forest Park.
