The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards seeks to educate students in order to promote appropriate conduct and improve students’ decision-making abilities.

If any violations of the University Student Conduct Code occur, the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS) is responsible for investigating alleged code violations and issuing sanctions or referring the complaint to another decision-maker. WashU hopes its students find a community where they feel free to pursue knowledge, to live with respect and integrity, and to express themselves fully. OSCCS advises students on how to meet those expectations and create a better community for all.

The Student Conduct Board (SCB) is composed of six (6) faculty members, six (6) undergraduate student members, six (6) graduate/professional student members, six (6) administrative or staff members, and one additional member who shall serve as chairperson.
